How to Play Multiple Albums in One Slideshow

If your event has more than one album — a rehearsal, the ceremony, the reception — a Combined Slideshow plays them all as one continuous show on a single screen. It is a Pro feature, and each album still keeps its own upload QR code.

  1. 1

Open Combined Slideshows in your dashboard

On the Pro plan and up, go to the Combined Slideshows section of your dashboard and create a new combined show.

  2. 2

Pick the albums and set the order

Choose which of your albums to include and drag them into the order you want them to play.

  3. 3

    Choose merged or chapters

Merged shuffles every album's photos into one stream. Chapters plays one album fully, then the next, with a divider in between — nice for a run-of-show that follows the evening.

  4. 4

Open its own link or TV code on the screen

The combined show gets its own share link and TV pairing code. Open it on any TV or projector and it live-updates as new photos are approved in any of its albums.

Frequently asked questions

Do guests upload to the combined slideshow?

No. Guests keep uploading to each individual album with that album's own QR code. The combined slideshow just plays the approved photos from all of them together.

What is the difference between merged and chapters?

Merged interleaves all the albums' photos into one shuffled stream. Chapters plays each album in full, one after another, with a divider between them — so a rehearsal, ceremony, and reception play in order.

Can the combined slideshow have its own look and music?

Yes. A combined slideshow has its own theme and its own background music, set once for the whole show, separate from the individual albums.

Does it update live during the event?

Yes. As you approve new photos in any of the member albums, they appear in the combined slideshow within about 15 seconds.

Which plan includes combined slideshows?

Combined slideshows are available on the Pro plan and above.
