This Privacy Policy describes how Tropic Endeavors, LLC (“EventPix,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use EventPix, eventpix.photo, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). EventPix may also be offered as a feature inside VowSpace.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you provide
We collect information you provide directly, including:
- Account information (name, email address, password)
- Billing information needed to process purchases (payments are processed by our payment provider)
- Photos, videos, captions, and other content you upload
- Optional information provided by guests during upload (for example a display name)
1.2 Information collected automatically
When you use the Service, we may collect:
- Device and browser information (for example device type, browser type, operating system)
- Log and usage data (for example pages viewed, actions taken, upload timestamps, referring pages)
- Approximate location derived from IP address
- Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 6)
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- provide, operate, and maintain the Service,
- store, process, and display photos and videos,
- run slideshows and support moderation workflows,
- process payments and provide customer support,
- improve, personalize, and optimize the Service,
- measure performance and understand how the Service is used,
- deliver and measure advertising and remarketing (see Section 6),
- detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access,
- comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell personal information in exchange for money.
3. Automated Processing and AI
We may use automated systems, including machine learning and AI technologies, to analyze and process information for purposes such as improving features, organizing content, detecting spam or abuse, improving photo handling, content moderation support, and customer support tooling. Where personal information is involved, it is handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
4. Guest Uploads and Photo Metadata
Guests may upload photos without creating an account. We collect only the information guests voluntarily provide, along with technical data needed to process uploads.
For privacy, we may remove embedded GPS or location metadata from uploaded photos.
5. Storage and Retention
Photos and videos are stored with trusted service providers (for example AWS).
5.1 Album retention
Content is retained for the duration specified by your plan (currently 6 to 12 months depending on tier). After the retention period, content may be permanently deleted.
5.2 Account deletion timeline
If you delete your account, we will take reasonable steps to delete personal information from active systems within 30 days, subject to backups, caching, and legal obligations. Some information may persist in backups for a limited period.
6. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
6.1 Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- maintain user sessions,
- remember preferences,
- improve performance and user experience,
- measure usage and troubleshoot issues.
You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not function properly.
6.2 Google Analytics (GA4)
We use Google Analytics (including GA4) to understand how users interact with the Service and to improve the Service. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your use of the Service.

6.3 Meta Pixel and remarketing
We use the Meta Pixel and may use other advertising and remarketing tools to:
- measure ad performance,
- build audiences (for example website visitors),
- deliver more relevant ads on third-party platforms,
- understand conversions and usage patterns.
These tools may collect or receive information from your device and browser (for example cookie identifiers and event data).

6.4 Your choices and opt-outs
Depending on your location and browser settings, you may be able to reduce tracking by:
- adjusting your browser cookie settings,
- using Google and Meta ad controls linked above,
- using industry opt-out tools where available: DAA · NAI
If you are a California resident, you may also request to opt out of “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising (see Section 9.2).
7. Information Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share information only in the following circumstances:
- with your consent or at your direction,
- with trusted service providers who assist in operating and supporting the Service (hosting, storage, analytics, email delivery, security, payments),
- with advertising and analytics partners as described in Section 6,
- to comply with laws, regulations, legal processes, or governmental requests,
- to protect the rights, safety, and security of EventPix, our users, or the public,
- in connection with a business transaction (for example a merger, acquisition, or asset sale), subject to standard protections.
Service providers are authorized to use information only as necessary to perform services on our behalf and are subject to confidentiality obligations.
8. Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Rights and Choices
9.1 General rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.
9.2 California disclosures
If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under California law, including the right to:
- request information about the categories of personal information collected and disclosed,
- request deletion or correction of personal information (subject to exceptions),
- opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
EventPix does not sell personal information for money. We may “share” certain identifiers and event data with advertising partners (for example through the Meta Pixel) for cross-context behavioral advertising.
To submit a California request, contact us using the information in Section 14. We may verify your identity before responding.
9.3 Marketing communications
You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us. Service-related and transactional messages may still be sent.
10. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. The Service does not currently respond to DNT signals.
11. International Transfers
We are based in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
12. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for children under 13, and users must be at least 18 to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
