How to Print QR Code Signs for Your Event
Once your event gallery is set up, EventPix.photo gives you print-ready QR code signs — you don't design anything. Here's how to print them and where to put them so guests actually scan.
- 1
Download your QR sign
From your album's QR Code tab, download a print-ready sign — a 4×6 table tent, a 4-up sheet (four cards per page to cut apart), or the plain QR image.
- 2
Print on cardstock
Print at home or at a copy shop. Cardstock holds up better than paper on a busy event table, and the sign is already sized so the code scans easily from a foot or two away.
- 3
Place them where guests look
One sign per table, plus the entrance or welcome table, the bar, and near the photo booth. High-traffic spots get the most uploads.
- 4
Test before the event
Scan your own sign with your phone to confirm it opens the upload page, and print a few extras in case one gets damaged.
Frequently asked questions
What size should a QR code sign be?
The downloadable signs are already sized to scan reliably from about one to two feet away, so a standard 4×6 table tent works well. Keep the code uncluttered and don’t shrink it below a few inches.
Do I need special software to make the QR code?
No. Your event's QR code is generated automatically when you create the gallery — there's nothing to design or install.
Can I print the signs myself?
Yes. Download the sign and print it at home or a copy shop; cardstock is recommended for durability.
