How to Print QR Code Signs for Your Event

Your album's QR code is generated automatically — turn it into a table sign in about a minute, with nothing to design.

  1. 1

Open the sign maker from your album

On your album's QR Code tab, tap Create QR Signs. The sign maker opens with your link already filled in — pick a template and download a printable sign. A full drag-and-drop Designer editor is available on Plus and up.

  2. 2

Or just download the QR image

Prefer to make your own card? Tap Download QR for a clean image of your code with the EventPix.photo mark, and drop it into any layout.

  3. 3

Print it and stand it up on your tables

Print at home or a copy shop and fold or mount it as a table card. Cardstock holds up better than paper on a busy event table.

  4. 4

Place them where guests look, and test

One on each table, plus the entrance, the bar, and near the photo booth. Scan your own card first to confirm it opens the upload page, and print a few extras.

Frequently asked questions

How small can the QR code be and still scan?

A good rule of thumb: a QR code scans from about ten times its width away. So a 1-inch code works at arm's length on a table card, while a sign people scan from across the room wants a 3-inch code or larger. Keep a clear border of white space (the 'quiet zone') around it, and don't shrink the code below about 1 inch.

What size should the sign itself be?

A 4×6 or 5×7 card sits nicely on a table, and a folded tent card stands on its own. Go larger for a sign at the entrance or bar so the code stays big enough to scan from a few feet away.

Do I need special software to make the QR code?

No. Your event's QR code is generated automatically when you create the gallery — there's nothing to design or install.

Can I print the sign myself?

Yes. Download the QR image or make a sign in the sign maker, then print at home or a copy shop; cardstock is best for durability.

Can I make a sign before I sign up?

Yes. The free QR code sign maker makes a printable sign from any link with no account needed — handy for planning ahead.
